Guardian Home Program
Our guardian homes play a vital role in helping our program grow while ensuring our dogs get the love, care, and attention they deserve. We don’t use kennels — our dogs are family. By partnering with guardian homes, we’re able to provide each of our breeding dogs a wonderful, full-time home while still keeping them part of our program.
As a valued guardian, you’ll receive a top-quality puppy chosen by us — completely free of charge. You’ll get to name them, spoil them, and do all the regular dog mom/dog dad things while we retain ownership and breeding rights for a set number of litters or years (depending on whether the dog is male or female).
We cover all breeding-related expenses, including health testing and reproductive care. You just handle the everyday stuff — routine vet care, grooming, food, exercise, and, of course, endless cuddles. Once your guardian dog’s breeding journey is complete, we take care of the spay/neuter costs, and full ownership is officially transferred to you.
It’s a win-win: our dogs get the best of both worlds, and you get a loving companion without the upfront cost.
Becoming a guardian home is a meaningful commitment — and we want it to be a perfect fit for both your family and one of our dogs. Here’s what we’re looking for in our guardian families:
• Must live within 1 hour of Jamestown, KY-
We need to be close enough for meetups, health testing, and breeding-related care.
• Safe and secure yard-
A fenced-in yard or a properly set up wireless fencing system is required to ensure your guardian pup has a safe space to play and exercise.
• Strong communication skills-
Open, honest, and consistent communication is a must. We stay in close contact with our guardian families and appreciate quick updates, check-ins, and responsiveness.
• All other dogs in the home must be spayed/neutered-
To ensure safety and control within the program, this is non-negotiable.
• Stable, loving home environment-
We’re looking for families who will love our dogs like their own, provide consistent care, and ensure they’re safe, happy, and well-socialized.
• Willingness to follow our program guidelines-
This includes feeding a premium diet, keeping up with regular grooming, providing basic training, and attending scheduled health appointments.
• Reliable transportation-
You’ll need to be able to bring the dog to us when needed for health testing, breeding, or whelping (don’t worry — we’ll give you plenty of notice).
If you’re ready to open your heart and home to a top-quality dog, and want to be part of a program that truly puts its dogs first, we’d love to hear from you!
